Sébastien AUBERT : CEO, Founder
Sébastien graduated from EM Lyon Business School in 2007 with a Master of Science in Management and a thesis about "Innovations in film financing". He has founded Adastra Films with David Guiraud at the age of 24. He is the CEO and main producer of the company. In 2014 Sebastien receives the Young Producer award by France Televisions. During the 68th Cannes Film Festival, SCREEN puts him on the list of the "future leaders in film production". In 2015 Sebastien is among the "top 100 emerging CEO's of France" by the French business magazine LE JOURNAL DES ENTREPRISES. Sebastien is regularly invited as a speaker about "raising funds from private sources" in film festivals such as Dubai, Clermont-Ferrand, Venice, Abu Dhabi, Biarritz, ...
David GUIRAUD - Artistic Director, Founder
After a bachelor in Cinema at La Sorbonne (Paris), he was an assistant director on the successful French feature "Le Serpent" which scored almost 800 000 entries at the French Box Office. In 2007 he became in charge of Short Films for the Richmond French Film Festival (USA). Shortly after founding Ad Astra Films in 2008 with Sébastien Aubert, he decided to launch the production of his first professional short film shot in the Moroccan desert, The Danaides' barrel, which was selected by around 50 international film festivals. In 2009 he was elected "Entrepreneur of the month" by Le Journal des enterprises, a monthly business magazine. Formerly in charge of the festivals distribution, he is now the "talent seeker" of the company, permanently looking for promising scriptwriters or film directors.
Kamila CECHOVA - Markrting Manager, Partner
After studying at the University of Economics in Bratislava (Slovakia) and working as an Assistant Manager in major French groups (Mazars and Soparind Bongrain / Savencia), Kamila joins ADASTRA FILMS in 2010 to assist the team in production and distribution.
In 2013, she graduates from the IDRAC Business School (France) with a Master's degree in Management of Business Strategy with a specialization in "Management of Brand Strategy, Innovation and Launching new products and services". She writes her thesis on the topic "Product Placement Efficiency in Marketing Communication Strategy in Film Fndustry".
She currently holds the position of Marketing and Communication Manager at Adastra Films and is also involved in developing film projects within the company.
Leslie JACOB - Producer
After a Bachelor's degree in English, Literature and Foreign Civilizations at La Sorbonne (Paris), she graduated from the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis with a Master's degree in "International business: French and Italian relationships" during which she studied the production systems of France and Italy. She worked as an intern at the Latina Film Commission (Italy) before entering the French Riviera Film Commission for two years. She then joins the world of live performances as an administrator for Antibea theater in 2014. During that period, she kept on working as a freelance location manager on Adastra's short films. She joins the team in early 2016 as a full time assistant producer. In 2017 she successfully managed the short film "The Ambassador" and a project for Pinterest. She's then promoted as a producer in the company.
Véronique GIACCARDI - Business Development
After nearly 10 years as a Sales Manager in groups such as Cegid or Atos Origin, and an experience as a founder of a real estate company, Véronique joined Adastra Films in the beginning of 2015. She is in charge of Business Development and sales of films to TV channels and other buyers.
Christiane MAURIZOT - In charge of festival distribution
Christiane has a doctorate in education medicine. After more than two decades as a doctor, she decided to work in the film industry, as movies were always her passion. She is now in charge of distribution in festivals. She manages a database of more than 1,800 international festivals. She is also very involved in humanitarian medicine; and is one of the responsible for the NGO "La Chaine de l'Espoir" in South of France, humanitarian association providing access to medical and surgical care for children from developing countries.
Tigrane MINASSIAN - In charge of Visual Communication
Director, writer and editor for 6 years.
After obtaining a diploma of Professional Editor at the BTS Audiovisuel de Cannes (France), he directs various music videos in France and abroad, as well as promotional videos for clients such as the National Concert Hall (Dublin), Thales Alenia Space, the Comité Régional du Tourisme Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, the city of Cannes, Théoule-sur-Mer... He has also created interactive visual projections for music shows such as Breathe - The Pink Floyd Experience, Jack Lukeman, Rebel Rebel - A David Bowie Tribute...
