Moroccan-born Uda Benyamina has been living in Paris for 20 years. She was first formed in different Schools of acting such as ERAC in Cannes, Academy of Minsk (Bielorussia) and the prestigious Actor’s studio in New York. In 2005 she founded the non-profit organization 1000 VISAGES to
popularize visual arts, before self-producing her first short films, which were all selected or awarded in renowned festivals. She was then asked to direct a bevy of French movie stars (Patrick Timsit, Richard Berry, Lorànt Deutsch and Pierre Richard) on a TV ad to promote voting. After this widely-broadcasted TV spot, she finally directed her first professional short film, “My Giant Trash Can”, with the support of experienced Director of Photography Ricardo Aronovich.
